This week Epic Games store is giving away another game Redout 2. It is an anti-gravity racing game set in the year 2560. You are going to play in teams and have to use one of the ships for racing. There are seven racing teams and you can also choose your ship from four ships. The game also feature s single player mode in which you can go on the racing campaigns.
When choosing the ships for racing, we have to look for the things like the acceleration, top speeds, grips, energy pool and how fast it can be recharged. You have to decide the ship based on the track that you are going to race on. The racing tracks are beautifully designed and take you to the Earth of the year 2560 CE. The Earth is semi-abandoned and you can race through the dystopian wastelands.
There are many interesting modes in this racing game. There is “Arena” mode in which the last ship is eliminated in each round until only one remains and the last one to survive is the winner. There is the speed mode in which you have to race withing a specific speed limit.
The hoverships that you pick can be customized and upgraded as you go through each of the campaigns. You can buy propulsors, stabilizers, rudders, intercoolers, flaps, magnets, wings, spoilers, rocket engines, paints and more for your ships.
The basic system requirements of running this game on a Windows PC are very moderate. We can run it on a Windows 10 PC with just 4 GB of RAM. It should have a graphics card similar to NVidia GeForce GTX 970 and a processor similar to Intel iCore i5 3470. Of course a better system will make game work better.
